Brittany Peddlar is a dedicated speech therapist with over eight years of experience in the field. She is a loving wife and a proud mother of four wonderful kids, which gives her invaluable insights and empathy at The Cocoon.
We offer speech and language therapy services tailored specifically for your child, whether through normal intervention or early intervention. Our early intervention sessions are individualized, child-directed, and play-based, harnessing the power of play to unlock your child's communication potential. If your child faces challenges with articulation, social skills, comprehension, or expressing thoughts coherently, we are here to help them overcome these obstacles. We also recognize the vital role parents play in their child's development, which is why we provide education and training to empower you with the tools and strategies to support your child's progress outside of therapy sessions.
At The Cocoon we have departed from traditional speech therapy as the only means to support language skills. We also focus on evidence-based practices within a community setting. These interactive sessions aim not only to nurture communication skills but also to build a supportive friendships among participants, creating an inclusive and dynamic environment.
This summer we are offering summer speech therapy (no evaluation required if the student has an IEP). We are also kicking off our summer tutoring sessions offered in the areas of math and job/college prep.
